What’s the difference been choosing a template or paying for a custom site?

Of course when it comes to building the website for your small business or organization, we can do whatever you like. After all, Codebrain Media is a premium WordPress development agency with the skills & resources to take any project from napkin conception to production.

We’ve created websites from a six-figure fully customized site to a $250 site on WordPress.com. No project is too big or too small. We have to figure out what you want and what your budget is — realistically.

But that has a caveat.

What is a template site?

A template site (or a templated website) is a fast way to get your small business website up and running with minimal time and cost. As long as you give us the assets you’d like (content and high-resolution photos), we can make replacements to the sections in any template you choose.

Matching colors and fonts can also be chosen and then you’re literally up and running. The more you’d like to customize, however, the more the site will cost. And while we’re billing you at $125 a man hour, that can get quite expensive — fast.

What is a custom website?

A custom WordPress site involves creating a design that suits your small business needs. Then we have a designer convert that into custom CSS so that your site functions and looks the way you like it to reflect your brand.

Custom sites are really fun and have a contract. It’s actually a good way to control your budget because the costs are known and agreed upon in advance.

So, what’s next?

In our opinion, your primary small business concern is that you need competent, trustworthy, reliable, experts in the WordPress space to build your website. Guess what? You found us.
